There is always something very personal about a newborn shoot, but an in-home newborn portrait, well, it brings it all home. We are always inspired to be in the sacred space where this new life is being nurtured. Our experience with Jack was extra special. We were honored to photograph his parents wedding a couple of years back. So he is a true Front Room baby.
Sarah and Ryan spend a lot of time on this couch dreaming of the day they’d be parents. Now they spend their time on the couch loving on Jack. It was the perfect location to start our shoot.
You’d never know this gray background is actually the wall of Jack’s nursery. It’s amazing how going on location for an in-home newborn portrait can force you out of your comfort zone and into improvising.
