American Club Wedding:  Stephanie & Joe!

When Stephanie and Joe called us, they weren’t looking for an American Club wedding photographer.  They were looking for an artist who could get to know them and their families and tell a story that included every member of their huge wedding party along with everyone else that came out to celebrate.  The fact that the American Club told them about us and that we know the grounds so well is a nice bonus which helped them really visualize how we would tell their story.

Of course, their story started long before this day.  We weren’t there for all of it, but we did get together with them on Milwaukee’s lakefront for an amazing engagement session.  That experience together really helped them understand what we are all about and how we fit seamlessly into the mix.

The mix in this case, was a wonderfully large wedding party that was as fun and as close knit as you get. It was also two families coming together with a tradition of staying together.  Both Stephanie and Joe’s parents are still married all these years later showing each of them what it takes to have a long successful marriage.

From a small town church, St. John the Baptist in Plymouth, to the incomparable American Club, Stephanie and Joe planned a day with all the touches of home and all the posh and elegance one could hope for.  A perfect balance. Surrounded by all those they love, Stephanie and Joe were rewarded with a beautiful if somewhat steamy day that they and everyone else enjoyed to the fullest.

Stephanie’s dress was from Brandi’s Bridal and designed by Stella York.  Her hair and makeup were done by Carino Capelli Salon.  The American Club provided both the flowers and the catering.  Milwaukee Airwaves took care of the entertainment at the reception and had everyone dancing all night long.
