Cake Lady: Valentine’s Treat!

There are benefits to being involved with events for years.  The relationships we have developed with others in this industry are some of favorite aspects of  this job.  One of our favorite people we get to work with is The Cake Lady!  We are blessed to be right down the street from her.  That makes it very convenient to just drop in and say hello when we (too rarely) have a spare moment.

It also means she can easily bring us her latest creation for a quick photo shoot followed by an even quicker devouring of her delicious work!  This adorable cake arrived just in time for Valentine’s Day!

If you need a cake for any occasion, Cake Lady is just over the border in St. Francis and her cakes taste just as good as they look!  Karen is also as sweet as her cakes, with a pinch of sassy thrown in for good measure.  The conversation with her is worth the trip to her shop.  Although getting in and out without sampling some of her delicacies is a near impossible feat.
