A Destination Wedding in Mexico with our friends Lindsay and Josh!
It is a unique bonding experience whenever we are invited to a destination wedding and without a doubt, we all become friends long before the flight home. With Lindsay and Josh, however the friendship began long before the wedding and before the proposal. We were even at the Pritzlaff Building rooftop the night Josh dropped to a knee and changed the course of their lives.
Needless to say, when the plans were revealed to have a destination wedding in Mexico we were thrilled. The warmth and beauty that awaited us away from the January winter in Wisconsin inspired us to photograph all the wonderful things we could dream of while we were all down there. In addition to beautiful scenery during the rehearsal and wedding, we were able to create a light painting of the couple and had a Day After session planned specifically to take advantage of the locale and the light.
Lindsay was a true DIY bride with a twist. After gathering materials from a variety of sources (Etsy, Goodwill, Target, Michaels, and Joanne Fabrics to name a few) she left them in the capable hands of her good friend Tiara from Events to a T to oversee the execution of her Mexican dream wedding.
