Sometimes we have a session scheduled and it looks like the weather is conspiring against us. But it seems like, more often than not, when we are brave and keep the session time, we are rewarded with some beautiful, stunning, unbelievable moments.
The day of Gina & Jeff’s engagement session rolled around and storms plagued Milwaukee. Neil had a big afternoon & evening planned. So we held our breath and hoped that it would work out. Their planner, and Gina’s cousin, David of Dynamic Events, wanted to get images for their Save the Date. So the pressure was on.
Not sure what we could get in, we started indoors in the late afternoon. Gina & Jeff had an Experience Engagement Session. This extended session allows us to get in more locations and both day and nighttime shots.
Then the weather broke, and with umbrella in hand, we stepped outside.
And boy were we rewarded!
A quick wardrobe and location change and the nighttime shoot began. The earlier rains had left the city shimmering, a beautiful backdrop.
