From Ms. Wisconsin to Mrs. Jones: Courtney and Shane Get Married!
Courtney and Shane had a task ahead of them: planning an entire wedding in Wisconsin from Texas. Luckily, they had Courtney’s mom Cindy on the ground in Wisconsin to do a lot of leg work for them. That’s how we came into the picture. Cindy came calling looking for a Harley Wedding Photographer for her daughter’s wedding day. As we have been to many a wedding at the Harley Davidson Museum, she knew we would be able to make the most of the opportunities at this picturesque location. Everything fell into place when she told us the ceremony would be in St Francis – right down the street from our studio!
Courtney and Shane met at a nightclub on Courtney’s 21st birthday. He saw her the moment he walked into the room and was immediately taken in by her beauty. Ironically, they went to the same high school but never knew each other. Fate can work in some mysterious ways. When they started thinking about their wedding vision, understandably they wanted to rekindle the same party vibe that united them in the first place. Of course when describing the Harley wedding photographer of their dreams, it would be someone who could capture that spirit as well.
It’s rare when we don’t get to meet the bride and groom until the wedding day, but Cindy assured us they were the sweetest couple and she didn’t exaggerate. She didn’t mention how awesome the rest of their crew would be, but from the get-go everyone welcomed us with open arms and we all had a great day together. When a couple is easy on the eyes, ridiculously in love and totally into the work you do, it always leads to wonderful experiences throughout the wedding day.
Amazing flowers by Jaimers Floral, an ice sculpture Art Below Zero and cake by Cupcakes by Val really brought the room together and made a stunning impression.
