I was going to meet Jennifer and Chris at The Social, the site of their first date. Alas, we were all reminded of how out of touch we are when we learned it had been closed for business for the last four months.
We ended up starting at Fratello’s, which added some kitsch and pop to the setting and became a great place to start shooting. Then, we wandered around by the river to see what light and angles we could find.
I’m really excited about their wedding. First of all, it’s on my birthday, which is obviously my favorite day of the year. But, Jennifer and Chris are just good people that are fun to be around. They add a good dose of genuine caring to a solid baseline of laughter and enjoyment.
I can’t wait to meet all the people that helped make them who they are. I’m sure they will be a lot of fun to spend some time with.
