Jessica & Simon – Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

Jessica and Simon’s wedding was one were really looking forward to.  They have such an effortless, easy style about them (it’s so effortless they would probably scoff at the thought) that we knew their wedding would have all the elements we love:  great location, great pacing, great people.  We were not disappointed.

The rain cleared up just in time for the guys to walk from their awesome suite at the Pfister to the Art Museum, where Jessica was literally bouncing with excitement.  Once the ceremony was over, we had a lot of fun taking Jessica and Simon outside and using the world-class architecture of the Art Museum as our backdrop (under the watchful eye of Barry, of course).

One of the most moving aspects of the evening was when Simon’s dad brought out his guitar and played and sang three original songs that he had written over the years dedicated to the bride and groom.  Much like his love for his son, that was subtly evident throughout the day through little looks and shoulder squeezes, his voice came from deep within him and could not fail to elevate everyone in the room.

A look back at their stylish and fun engagement session
