Lake Country Wedding: Laura & Anthony!
Laura and Anthony learned a ton while planning their Lake Country wedding. While their advice to future couples included the value of creating a wedding budget and consulting a florist before settling on wedding colors to make sure your colors are available in your season, the most striking nugget was on a more personal note. “Take a moment to appreciate all the work and love that goes into your day. Everything goes so fast, so breathe and enjoy all the little moments with your new spouse that make the day special,” said Laura. These are true words of wisdom. There are obviously a lot of details and minutia to keep track of in the days and months leading up to your wedding, but once the day begins it is important to let go a bit and cherish where you are.
Having professionals in place to take care of things that day goes a long way toward remaining emotionally present throughout the day. It’s one of the reasons we prioritize a couple’s experience as much as their photos as we guide them through a day. We weren’t too worried about that with Laura and Anthony. When a couple meets doing karaoke, we figure they are pretty good at letting their guard down and enjoying the moment, and that they did. In fact, when they first approached us about their Lake Country wedding, they said they were looking for “someone who is organized but can also improvise in the moment. We enjoy photos which capture laughs between family, sweet looks between couples and the ridiculous funny faces our friends make!” It’s this kind of balance that we are always looking for so we knew it was a great fit.
