Lake Geneva Wedding Photography is Extra Special with Artistic Flair, Style, and Love
Any time we get to create Lake Geneva Wedding Photography, it’s a great weekend for us. This time around was even more special because because we got to capture the wedding of Kara and Collin. Their extraordinary love is obvious and it translates into pure joy. It’s contagious to everyone around them. (Remember how awesome we always say our job is? Couples like Kara and Collin are the reason why!) Beyond that, their artistic flair and style made this a wedding we couldn’t wait to see. We are over-the-moon excited to share some of our favorites from their Collection of Wedding Art now! The details do not disappoint!
Wedding Style for Miles
Collin was going to have to do something to keep up stylistically with his future wife on the wedding day. Kara, an amazingly talented artist, designed her own art deco inspired wedding gown and had it locally made. We love that she walked down the aisle in a creation of her own. Collin is and artist too so this groom was not going to be walking down the aisle in just any tux. We love his perfectly-fit Brooks Brothers Tuxedo. Very classic and elegant.
Art Deco Wedding of Sapphire and Persimmon
Every engagement starts with an engagement ring and ends with a wedding. We love Kara’s stunning art deco sapphire engagement ring. The couple chose to pair persimmon with sapphire as a nod to the Wisconsin Fall that would host their big day. What a fabulous choice! The colors are both classics and have a bold pop that fit the style, setting, and time of the wedding perfectly.
Historic Setting
The backdrop for this monumental day that marks the beginning of Kara and Collin’s life together was the Lake Geneva Yacht Club. This setting is not only beautiful, overlooking the lake and beautiful Wisconsin Fall foliage, but is rich in history. Lake Geneva Yacht Club is the second oldest yacht club in the country founded over 140 years ago in 1874. With history like that, you know the guests were in for a treat of beautiful surroundings. Couple that with Kara and Collin’s style, it was truly a wedding to be remembered.

A Love for the Ages
Kara and Collin met at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. Which is appropriate since they are both artists and musicians. It is no surprise that this couple loves to paint together and make music together.
But this is our favorite – when we asked the couple to list their favorite wedding details the first thing on their list was each other (Swoon!). With a love like that, we know they are going to have a long and happy marriage.
“We are excited to have photos of our true love for each other, in any setting. We are each others’ best friends and always have a blast together.” – Kara & Collin
90% of the guests for this wedding traveled to be with the newlyweds on their big day. With that kind of love and dedication surrounding them, it’s not shocking at all to see that once at the Lake Geneva Yacht Club everyone was ready to have a great time. We think it also stems from the pure joy that this couple has just by being together. It’s infectious!

Advice from the Couple
“Center the whole experience in your love. Put the other first in every decision. Remember what a wedding really means. This will help you remember what details really matter. Take every opportunity you can to show your gratitude to everyone for doing so much for you. Celebrate that you met your soul mate and that you are starting a new life together.” – Kara & Collin
