Madison Club Wedding: Katie & Nick!

Who knew that years after working on a Business 101 class project together, Katie and Nick would have a much larger project to tackle: planning their Madison Club wedding! Some of the lessons learned on that first project helped them with the current one. “Stay organized and create a budget!” advised Katie to all new brides. That’s about as Business 101 as it gets. Once their wedding day got started, everyone got down to the serious business of celebrating these two. Their intimate Madison Club wedding ceremony for their closest friends and family blossomed into a raucous reception when the party expanded to nearly double in size.

Since they were having everything in one location, they agreed the best plan was to have a first look and do all the wedding party photos before the ceremony. We couldn’t have had a more picturesque day as Nick waited for Katie to make her appearance on the roof of Monona Terrace. He fidgeted anxiously with anticipation until Katie arrived at which point he was overcome by the vision of her. From there, we all strolled to the Capitol finding great opportunities amongst the timeless architecture and autumnal colors.

Katie found her beautiful dress with the help of the Vera’s House of Bridal consultants.

The Madison Club provided not only this classic location for Katie and Nick but also the decor, catering, linens and this lovely cake! White Peacock Design created the amazing floral landscape. If you are looking for a great space to hold both a ceremony and reception, you can’t go wrong with The Madison Club. With their multi-level options, not a room needed to be flipped for Katie and Nick leading to a smooth transition from ceremony to dinner to dancing.

Sneaking Katie and Nick out for a few nighttime photos was perhaps our favorite part of the day. That was our time to experiment and come up with a dreamy conclusion to a dreamy day!
