There are engagement sessions where everything comes together perfectly: timing, light, loving couple.
Arriving at the location 45 minutes early, Carissa and Alan were amped and ready to go right away. There was a perfectly dilapidated building bathed in beautiful light right across the street from where I parked.
They barely needed any photo direction since they were following engagement session cardinal rule number one: just love each other.
After the shooting was over, a sunset was discovered. Consistent with the rest of this shoot, Carissa and Alan were easy to find in the Memorial Union a full 10 minutes after parting ways and needed no goading to take advantage of the most stunning physical phenomenon we’d seen that day.
