It was great to get back to St. Monica’s. I love the light in the room where the Maggie got ready. And it’s such a beautiful church that really lends itself to timeless imagery.
Once we got to Pier WI we had a great time avoiding the throngs of other bridal parties on the breakwater. We came up with some beautiful imagery, highlighting the calming water that is so important to Kevin and Maggie’s, isolating them from any of the exhilarating wedding chaos that can surround a bride and groom.
Following some spirited dancing, I also really enjoyed the pictures of the two of them at night. Taking a moment to step away from the reception has a way of slowing the incredible momentum of a wedding day. It gave Kevin and Maggie one more chance to take a breath and remember that this was the night they had planned and anticipated for so long.
