Milwaukee Art Museum Wedding: Kate & Garett!
“It’s nice to always enjoy the simple things in life. Cherish every moment that you have with the people that truly love and care about you!” These words of wisdom from our bride were delivered in reflection after her Milwaukee Art Museum wedding. They are a great reminder for every wedding couple. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in all the minutia that goes into planning a wedding that you can lose perspective on why you’re going to all the trouble in the first place.
One helpful tip to get you on the Zen wedding planning path is to surround yourself with trusted vendors. Having the reassurance that the pros will truly handle their piece of the puzzle can allow to actually let go of that stress and just enjoy the day (and even the days leading up to the day). Kate and Garett did themselves many favors by bringing in a dream team: Belle Fiori on flowers; Sound by Design on lighting and entertainment; The Cake Lady on (obviously) cake; and Canopies and BBJ Table Fashions for all the decor. With all this collective wedding experience on board, all they had to do was enjoy the party they were throwing themselves! Oh and get married, of course.
Grace Lutheran, one of our favorite churches in town, was the site of their ceremony. We then took Kate and Garett and their wedding party to some of our favorite locations around town, mixing some nature and urban into the photos before arriving for the reception at our city’s crown jewel: the Milwaukee Art Museum. This is a venue we are thoroughly familiar with yet never get tired of. Not only is it a stunning building, but just outside the space is city skyline in one direction and lake in the other, both of which are wonderful backdrops day or night.
Kate and Garett chose to have a Milwaukee Art Museum wedding for many reasons (location, setting, service,…) and they were handsomely rewarded with a gorgeous event that will be remembered for years to come.
