Tim & Lauren are Engaged!

Lauren & Tim are getting married in just a few short weeks on July 16th – today we look back on their engagement session with Amanda and how they got to where they are today! Being a Milwaukee Engagement Photographer is unique in that we get to know the stories and the people more intimately than we do when we just show up on the morning of a wedding.
We like this intimacy with our clients. Knowing them, and their story, helps put the wedding day into perspective for us. It’s always an honor to tell the story of what happens on wedding day. But our goal is to tell the story of a couple, a love story. From engagement, to wedding, to anniversaries, babies and pets down the road.

-How did your fiance propose?-
He proposed on my birthday this April. He took me to dinner at the restaurant where we had our first date (Pizza Man) and the bar where we had our first drink (Nomad) and then proposed back at our apartment that evening.
-What do you like to do together?-
We like to do a lot of outdoorsy things together- hike, kayak, boating, beach volleyball, tennis, bike rides. We also like to cook, get long brunches & watch TV marathons together.
Getting to know what a couple likes to do together is so important in planning the engagement session. We like to “see you on a date”. Doing things that you would normally do together, just looking your best and having a photographer follow you around a bit. It gets you used to the way it will feel on wedding day.
