It was the 54th annual Bal du Lac event at the Milwaukee Art Museum. One of Milwaukee’s most fashionable social events of the year. This year featured cocktails in the new East End and newly renovated Collection Galleries. And, as always, a outstanding meal and partying in the ever beautiful Windhover Hall. As the Milwaukee Event Photographer tasked with capturing “Dan’s Last Dance”, we caught every moment of Director Dan Keegan’s final Bal du Lac.
Grandeur and gaiety defined the Renaissance-esque affair. Lovers of the arts flood the doors of this event every year (it sells out every year – a true testament to the art culture of Milwaukee!). This year over 400 guests were in attendance.
All proceeds support the Museum and its work to collect, preserve, and present world-class art to the community and provide diverse educational programs for all ages.
