Milwaukee Wedding Photographer: Wendy & Rick!
Wendy and Rick waited a long time before searching out their Milwaukee wedding photographer. That’s because it took a long time to find each other. Luckily, they each held out for the right person to marry and then sought out the right photographer to tell their story. We were honored to be their choice and cherished the experience.
Wendy and Rick weren’t the only ones anticipating this day for years and years. One of Wendy’s favorite memories was her father stealing the show at the ceremony. “Hearing my 84-year-old dad, who is frail as can be, nearly shout his ‘YES!’ in response to the pastor’s question of whether our marriage has my parents’ blessing. He has waited many, many years to see his youngest daughter married, and he could not have been happier.” Weddings never fail to bring out true and deep emotions, sometimes from the unlikeliest of corners. This is why we love being a Milwaukee wedding photographer. Each wedding comes with a unique set of personalities, relationships and circumstances.
Wendy and Rick were just really thankful that, after all the twists and turns, their lives had led them to this wonderful day. “So many family and friends traveled across several state lines to share our joy. We loved seeing them and were honored by their presence. Walking in to the trumpet (Prince of Denmark’s March) after the Westminster chimes and 12 bells was grand and wonderful. Walking out together to another trumpet solo and greeting family and friends was a moment we won’t forget. The bright sunflowers and huge balloons captured the mood – a festive party! We savored every minute of the entire day.”
Their program expressed their feelings better than we could: “You have been part of our lives in a variety of ways, and we are who we are because of it. Many of you have modeled good marriages, and we will be better for it. Many of you have walked with us through dark seasons, and we came through because of you. Many of you have laughed silly with us, and we hope that continues! All of you are deeply treasured. We simply cannot do without you.”
