New Year’s Eve at Blue Harbor, Warmed by Mink
Erin and Rick knew what they were getting into when they decided on a winter wedding in Wisconsin. Not only were they unafraid of the weather they invited to their wedding, they welcomed a plus one. “Words of advice for the winter brides: Brave the cold and the snow. My prayer for snow was answered with 10 inches and I was beyond excited! With Rick and his family’s mink business, I envisioned incorporating mink fur with a winter wonderland. I knew Neil would produce nothing but the best with a “white slate”.
Everything came together as dreamed. It’s not every couple that gets married in the very spot that they met. However, Erin and Rick first laid eyes on each other on a very special Christmas Eve at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. They came back to that very same sanctuary for their New Year’s Eve wedding and to begin their new life together. Now they can have a full week-long celebration every year for their engagement and wedding anniversaries!
After the ceremony we stopped for photos with their dog Chief, stopped traffic in downtown Sheboygan to have a “rock star” moment, and took a quick spin on a sleigh! All that prepared everyone for a great dinner and party at Blue Harbor Resort. The ice sculpture by Art Below Zero was amazing and Sound by Design set the tone literally and figuratively. Not only did they keep everyone dancing all night long, they also provided all the uplighting that put the final touch on a stunning ballroom.
Erin looked amazing in her Pronovias dress from Brandi’s Bridal.
