Pritzlaff Wedding Photographer: Mollie & Nate!
Mollie and Nate were looking for a Pritzlaff Wedding photographer that could give them “the right mix of real and art”. Not being in the wedding photo industry, they weren’t sure if that concept made sense, but it was music to our ears because it’s exactly the blend we are always going for! “We want photos that we’ll look back at because of how amazing they are, but also photos that capture all the important moments” That, in a nutshell, is what wedding photography is all about to us. We make personal art that at times is strictly interpretive and at times fairly directed, but always with the bride and groom’s style in mind.
Mollie and Nate began their day at the Iron Horse Hotel, a really cool space perfect for getting ready photos and stunning first looks. One of the benefits of doing a first look is it gives us the freedom to get a lot of bride and groom photos done as well as wedding party and family photos before the ceremony. For Mollie and Nate, we hit the beach with the wedding party and did some really fun photos.
Their ceremony at St. John Cathedral was beautiful and moving. From there it was off to the Pritzlaff, with its cream city brick industrial feel for the remainder of the evening. Sound by Design provided all the lighting and entertainment for the reception, La Tulipe beautified the room with amazing flowers and BBJ supplied the linens, Lee John’s provided the delicious catering and The Cake Lady brought dessert!
In the end, what started out as a rainy day, turned out to be a beautiful start to Mollie and Nate’s new life together. After years of a long-distance relationship, waking in up in the same city every day is what they have been anticipating for so long.
