Sarah and Nunzio’s wedding was filled with spark, fun, romance and yes, it was one heck of a party.
It was a full day, we got started early at Aniu in Madison, then off to Sarah’s family church, where her sister had gotten married not even a year before. And much later, off to Milwaukee to one of my favorite reception sites, the Grain Exchange.
Sarah’s father made an impressive toast. It even brought a tear to my eye, reminding me of my father on my wedding day.
(Our first encounter with Sarah wasn’t related to her wedding at all. She called us and purchased a gift card for her sister Kate and her husband to be Jared (above!) as a wedding gift.)
The evening was a hoot with Nunzio’s brother and cousin dancing like crazy, the traditional Italian dances, and also, the best of all… the traditional Italian cookie and dessert table of goodness. I had a blast at their wedding (especially since I’m a little bit Italian too.)
See their engagement session!
