South Shore Park Pavilion Wedding: Molly & Luke!

Molly & Luke could not have hoped for anything more from their South Shore Park Pavilion wedding.  “Our wedding day was perfect from beginning to end. One hundred percent of it is thanks to our parents and my giant family (there are nine of us kids in total) for helping throughout the entire day,” Molly explained. It really was a family affair with everyone pitching in to make the perfect day for Molly & Luke. It was a refreshing experience for us to see a family come together like theirs to pull off an extraordinary day without involving multiple vendors, agendas, and schedules. Everything about their day was personal and meaningful.

“Luke’s childhood friend, Ross, officiated as well as being one of the best men. We didn’t know any part of his ceremony until it began, and the surprises along the way made the wait worthwhile. My engagement ring is particularly special; it’s my late mother’s ring and my late grandmother’s diamond. Knowing I had both women with me on that special day was so important to me. I’m the oldest of nine kids and Luke is an only child. Being able to incorporate all of my siblings into the wedding party meant the world to me, especially because it meant Luke accepted them as his family too.”

Molly and Luke’s South Shore Park Pavilion wedding is the essence of what weddings are all about:  two people choosing to make a commitment to each other with their entire circle of family and friends there to support them. We were given the honor to be there to capture the real story of their day.

Pizza Lunchables were a must-have for Molly and her bridesmaids, a call back to their high school days.

“I have too many favorite moments, but one of my favorites was right before the ceremony when I asked if someone could send Luke back to the kitchen where I was hiding until the processional. He came in and sat on a cooler next to me, and there was a mop bucket near me as well. He held my hands, looked into my eyes, and it was all I needed to calm any nerves I still had.”

It’s these moments that mean the most to us as well.  They may not be perfectly posed in an immaculate room, but that’s what makes them so special. Keeping the moment in the image real not only allows you to experience the moment in the first place, but also allows you travel back to that moment whenever you see the image.
