Surg on the Water Wedding: Sarah & Brian!
Sarah summed up the lessons learned from her Surg on the Water wedding with one thought: “Seize the moment and enjoy the best day with your friends and family.” She unwittingly basically summed up our professional philosophy, which makes sense considering what a great fit we all were. After all, a wedding day is not a photo shoot. It’s an opportunity. When else will everyone you love be in one place at the same time? When will the depth of everyone’s emotions be so close to the surface? Weddings stir up a lot of emotional content. We have spent the last 20 years searching for the best ways to wade through those waters, capturing as much as we can, guiding where we can without disrupting.
Sarah and Brian’s Surg on the Water wedding was a perfect opportunity. Starting out as high school sweethearts, the anticipation could not have been higher. They invited 150 of their favorite people to join them for their ceremony at Christ King Church Parish in Wauwatosa. This is one of our favorite churches in the area. It’s simply beautiful inside and outside it’s doors are majestic trees. After a couple stops around town, we arrived at Surg on the Water for the remainder of the night. With it’s amazing deck overlooking the river and all the crafty details Sarah and Brian created for the night, they couldn’t have been happier with the way everything came together.
Midwest Sound took care of the lighting and entertainment for the evening, making sure the “wow factor” was in place when people entered the room and had something to dance to all night long. The cake from Metro Market was amazing as was the catering was provided by the Surg Group.
In the end all the professionals Sarah and Brian chose put together a fantastic evening for their friends and family.
