Historic Pritzlaff Wedding: Hanna & Kirk!

From a chance meet-cute at Taylor’s to a dramatic proposal in front of thousands of people, Hanna and Kirk’s Historic Pritzlaff wedding seems like the inevitable result of all the stars aligning for these two. As a professional model we have worked with for years, we have always known Hanna to be one-of-a-kind, at once as sweet as she is beautiful. We always wondered what guy would possibly match up to her. Enter Kirk, the “Hanna” of dudes. His good looks and confidence might be intimidating if not for his immediately disarming charm. We were personally thrilled for Hanna and professionally honored when she excitedly called to tell us about the Historic Pritzlaff wedding they were planning.

They chose Villa Terrace as the perfect location for getting ready and first look photos. There could not have been a better background for Hanna’s amazing Yaki Ravid gown from Dimitras Bridal in Chicago. The light streaming through the windows in this European villa was gorgeous! After some bridal portraits in the garden below and wedding party photos, we arrived at Pritzlaff to see the shabby chic vision coming together.

With their reasonable but large guest list, the Pritzlaff was the perfect fit for both their ceremony and reception using part of the 333 room for their ceremony and the rest of the room for cocktails and dinner. Eventually, the ceremony space was converted to a dance floor that was used all night long!

Touches of Hanna and Kirk’s shared Swedish heritage everywhere, from there “Fru” and “Herr” signs to the dessert table overflowing with Swedish sweets. Wonderful stories were told during the toasts of the couple’s fairytale courtship. The highlight of the reception had to be Hanna and Kirk’s gracefully choreographed first dance. With Hanna’s ballroom dancing experience, her performance was no surprise, but Kirk is no slouch and more than held his own.  To be certain, there were many impressive dancing feats from this crowd throughout a reception that never quit. Everything was tied together beautifully by their coordinator, Timeless Events. The couple had that peace of mind and a wedding full of beautiful details, coordinated, planned and executed to perfection.

This Historic Pritzlaff wedding is one we had circled on our calendar for months. We are so happy to be the ones to tell Hanna and Kirk’s story.
