Turner Hall Wedding: Christi & Josh!

Christi and Josh knew exactly what they wanted from their Turner Hall wedding-  great food, an awesome party, and all of their closest friends and family on hand to help them celebrate.  From the beginning of our working relationship, they revealed themselves as a classic Front Room laid back couple and that certainly didn’t change on their wedding day.  It was hair and makeup at Neroli for the ladies and brunch at Cafe Centraal to start the day.  After that we took the opportunity to stroll around the neighborhood to add a little nature to the photos and the rest of the day was at the one-of-a-kind Turner Hall.  This remains one of our favorite venues in town. We think of all of our couples as rock stars and there is something very special about combining that feeling with a location that actually features rock stars regularly.

Some of the highlights of the day included Christi and Josh’s dog, Lucy making a brief appearance in her tutu, followed by both of Christi’s beautiful dresses (the dress for the ceremony was lovely but did NOT allow for sitting or dancing). Don’t miss Josh’s awesome reaction to seeing Christi in her first dress, Judge Derek Mosley presiding over the ceremony (love that guy) and the Front Room Photo Booth.  Jane Kelly Floral beautified the character-filled ballroom, Relics Vintage Rentals created an awesome lounge on the stage and Milwaukee Airwaves kept everyone dancing all night long.

We thrive when couples trust us and our vision, giving us the freedom to make the most of what we are seeing for them. We communicate a lot before the wedding day to ensure we are seeing things with a slant toward that couple’s priorities and style that allows them to live their day and us to go nuts (photographically speaking) on their behalf.  Christi and Josh gave us all the info we needed and we had so much fun running with that, getting inspired along the way, and meeting all the wonderful people they have gathered into their lives.  We were honored and thrilled to be a part of their very memorable Turner Hall wedding.
