Turner Hall Wedding: Kristin & Nick –

Kristin & Nick’s Turner Hall Wedding was everything they dreamed of, helped in no small way by their day-of coordinator from Dare to Dream. There is so much planning that goes into a wedding day that by the time the day gets there you really want to be able to enjoy it. That is easier said than done if you are the ones with the answers to all the questions and the ones running the show. When you bring in a day-of coordinator, you can really turn the reigns over to someone else and allow yourselves to remain emotionally present and enjoy the party.

“I think the best ‘words of wisdom’ we could give would be to hire a day-of coordinator.  Megan at Dare to Dream was amazing, and without her I don’t think we would have been able to enjoy the day as much as we did. Not only did we have the peace of mind that the day would flow seamlessly, we also were able to in turn enjoy more moments alone together as a couple. The day truly was a whirlwind and flew by faster than I could have ever imagined, and my favorite memories from the day are those where the two of us were able to just chat and soak in everything together (from the first look to the minutes right after the ceremony to our first dance). Without Megan’s planning and presence, we wouldn’t have had as many of those moments.”

Kristin & Nick knew having a Turner Hall wedding would help them achieve all their goals: a “vintage chic” theme, having everything in one location, and keeping that balance of elegant but not stiff.  Of course, their photos would reflect all of those elements, and that was just perfect for them. “We want someone who’ll not only capture beautiful images, but also raw emotions and candid expressions. I want the photos to feel real and to take me back to the thoughts, emotions, jokes, smells, and tastes of the day.”

We knew there was a reason we liked these two! Their day was very special and we were honored to be a part of it.
