The stately Westmoor Country Club sits proudly in its English Tudor splendor across from the hustle and bustle of Brookfield Square. Conveniently located near hotels and shopping, the club started way back in 1925. Since then, it’s quietly made a name for itself in the community with an impressive premier club status. It boasts an 18-hole golf course; a Little Links Executive Course, an Olympic size swimming pool; five tennis courts (including 2 clay and 3 hard courts), which provides plenty of entertainment for guests of varied interests. For any event, it’s a wonderful venue to wow invitees with its offerings – athletic or culinary.

Dr. Alissa Dries – Director of Special Events
ALISSA
What’s your adult beverage of choice?: Gin and seltzer or a brandy old fashioned sweet.
What’s your junk food of choice: Taco Bell, I’m a carb junkie!
What’s your favorite animal?: Rhinoceros, but I do have two dogs named Kevin and Charlie.
What do you like to do for fun?: I love spin and yoga!
Before she was the Director of Special events, Alissa got her start in the industry working in Westmoor’s kitchen with her father, the executive chef. She continued through her schooling and later became an obstetrician. She practiced for a while before she returned to her roots in events and has not looked back since. Naturally, with a chef father and some time in the kitchen herself, food is an important thing to her and she proudly boasts of the Club’s quality and expertise. Alissa’s team consists of 3 dining managers to keep dinner service running smoothly for your guests.
What should couples know about the Westmoor Country Club?
It remains a private club to this day, but hosts weddings for its members and non-members with a club member’s “sponsorship”, which can be acquired with assistance from the Westmoor event professionals if interested.
Favorite trend you are seeing for weddings this year?
I love sweetheart tables, I think it’s important to take time to share your meal together.
Non traditional cakes and sweets tables are also really fun.
Natural wedding designs and soft colors work really well with the Club and are timeless.
What spaces are available for events?
There are four spaces.
There’s the President’s Room, Winter Chalet, Dining Room and Garden Room. There’s also an outside space for cocktail hours in the summer that’s really nice and allows everyone to congregate and have fun.
What’s your favorite dish on the menu?
Our butternut squash ravioli is amazing!
What services are available in-house?
We offer catering, cakes, full service bar, tables, chairs and linens.
Fabulous features of Westmoor Country Club
The food is absolutely fantastic. People usually rave about it and there’s a full tasting for couples ahead of time so it’s perfect for your day.
The outdoor spaces are great too, it really celebrates the Club in the summer. Lush greens, wispy plants and large grounds make it perfect for photos.
What is your favorite thing about weddings at Westmoor Country Club?
I really love the grand entrance, seeing my couples sit down to a great meal together and delivering the cake topper to the couple.
The Beauty
Alissa had the right idea – the Club is a great place for photos. The dining room with its panoramic views of the golf course has great views from its plentiful windows and the course itself lends itself to some wonderful images and romance. It’s newly renovated and has plenty of amenities so your day would be gorgeous from start to finish! The ladies’ locker room is stocked with styling products, towels and anything you need to get ready in style. There’s an outdoor ceremony space that looks back onto the Clubhouse and the long green if that’s more your speed.
