Boerner Botanical Wedding: Michelle & Evan!
Michelle and Evan had an awesome approach to planning their Boerner Botanical wedding. “My hope is that the day will feel casually elegant and light-hearted. Of course, we take getting married seriously, but I don’t want it to feel like a solemn occasion (including the ceremony), I want it to feel like a celebration. We don’t want to take ourselves too seriously!” explained Michelle. That about sums up our approach to all of this as well. We want to make sure that we respect the huge step a couple is taking and the investment they are making in us. We also want to make sure to have fun throughout!
“We’d prefer it feel more casual and like a friendship than a business situation as I think that results in better pictures.” We couldn’t put it better ourselves.
Knowing how excited they were about the natural setting they chose for their wedding, Amanda decided to use that nature as the backdrop for all the bridal details.
Keeping things simple, Michelle and Evan decided to have Zilli’s do as much of the work for them as possible. Not only do they cater events, but their floral department, Adorn Wedding Floral, did all their flowers too!
This moment, the celebratory walk out of a ceremony is always one of Amanda’s favorites. It’s the moment when a wedding transitions from a long-anticipated public declaration filled with emotional weight into a no holds barred celebration. Let the party begin!
Look at this amazing sunset Amanda found! There is little we love more than when dramatic light meets dramatic clouds.
