We have heard about this mythical venue in the past but never had the pleasure of experiencing a bona fide Chefs Table Wedding. It is Milwaukee’s only option for a “private personalized dining experience” and was a perfect fit for Gazelle and Shaun’s intimate 60 person wedding. Indeed, if a couple isn’t looking to host a dance party for their wedding and don’t want to pay a restaurant to close down for the evening, The Chefs Table is really one of the only options. Everything from the location (Milwaukee’s Historic 5th Ward) to the architecture (an old warehouse) to the decor (check out the amazing kitchenware chandelier) make this a truly unique space.

Their team not only provided the space and coordinated the evening, they also took care of the catering, flowers, and cake. In this day of Pinterest and “listicles”, a couple could (and often does) spend many hours searching through different vendors in each category of services needed for their wedding. Gazelle and Shaun had actually eloped in California a few weeks before gathering their friends and family to celebrate. when you plan 2 weddings you also don’t pass up the opportunity to buy another dress! Gazelle picked a Marisa Bridal; dress from The White Dress Boutique and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a first look in the Chefs Table’s speakeasy!

Gazelle and Shaun packed The Chefs Table with a lot of love, so much so they almost didn’t have space for their first dance! They carved out a sliver of dance floor to be in the spotlight for a moment during their very low-key wedding celebration.
