Milwaukee County Historical Society Wedding: Jenessa & Adam!
The seeds for Jenessa & Adam’s Milwaukee County Historical Society wedding were sown over PBRs in a bar in Cincinnati. That pretty much sets the stage for who Jenessa and Adam are. “We’re also not super serious. We want the whole feel of the day to be a big party. While the site may seem somewhat formal, we want the party itself to feel informal and really fun. Adam is from the Milwaukee area, but my family and many of our friends are from all over. That said, we’re treating it as a destination wedding for those from out of town, with Wisconsin-themed appetizers and cocktails and lots of fun music.” To gather all their favorite people in Milwaukee for an appropriately themed wild party in a fancy historical venue is perfectly Jenessa and Adam.
We love weddings like Jenessa and Adam’s, a day thoroughly infused with the character of the couple and filled with the love of their community. The strong friendships among this group, who came from around the country to be here, was something that really struck us. Adam’s three (yes three!) best men, in particular, each expressed how they uniquely value Adam’s friendship. The perfect complement to amazing speeches at a wedding, of course, is the raucous dancing that follows. Sound by Design made sure that as soon as the music started Jenessa, Adam, and everyone else was on the floor all night and never left it. It was quite the party!
“Milwaukee County Historical Society is so gorgeous, I wanted my bridesmaids to feel special in something sparkly and fun!” – Jenessa

To put a fine point on how these relationships have overcome geographical challenges, Jenessa’s dad made the seating chart on a map to pay homage to all the guests that traveled in for Jenessa and Adam’s Milwaukee Historical Society wedding.
