Milwaukee Rehearsal Dinner: Megan and Sam!

The rehearsal and dinner to follow are the official start to a wedding celebration.  After months of anticipation, guests are starting to roll into town, emotions start to well up and the one of the biggest moments in a couple’s life is so close can taste it.  Or maybe that’s the amazing Bartolotta’s catering in the air! At least that was the case with Megan and Sam’s Milwaukee rehearsal dinner at Lake Park Bistro!

As with any Dynamic Events by David Caruso wedding, his team put together an amazing production and were on hand to help literally coordinate all the moving parts.  For Megan and Sam, this applied not only to overseeing the placement of dozens of roses hanging from the ceiling, lighting consulting or managing a park installation transforming the courtyard at Pritzlaff.  It was also about where each member of the wedding party would stand and at what angle during the ceremony.  No detail was too big or too small.

Often the rehearsal is our first chance to meet all the parents.  Having photographed two of Megan’s sister’s weddings, we knew her family quite well.   They are a remarkable group and was great to see them all again.  Reconnecting with Front Room couples and seeing how their kids have grown is one of the most rewarding aspects of our jobs.  Meeting Sam’s family was just as special.  His parents could not have been sweeter and it was fun to see they and Megan’s parents all spending time together.  These are two truly great families coming together.

After all the kinks were worked out, it was time for Megan and Sam to relax with a signature cocktail and all their favorite people at Lake Park Bistro. The Bartolotta family catered to the wedding’s every need the entire weekend, so Megan and Sam knew they nor their guests would go hungry.

A rehearsal dinner is a very intimate experience.  The toasts are personal and the hugs are heartfelt.  It’s also a great time to give your wedding party tokens of gratitude for standing up with you.  Megan lavished her ladies with jewelry, matching jammy sets and flip flops!  Sam gave his guys something every man needs:  a personalized carrying case for their beer complete with a built in bottle opener!
