Pabst Best Place Wedding: Jennifer & Jason!
When Jennifer and Jason first called us, it wasn’t about their Pabst Best Place wedding. They were just looking for a few family photos before the wedding. Their priorities weren’t about having the biggest, best wedding ever. They were just hoping to be able to show up without stains on their clothes. You see, they are new parents, not just a bride and groom. That has a way of shifting one’s perspective.
However, once we pointed out the amazing opportunity that day would be to document those most important to them and the emotional content that would surely be on display, their minds opened up a bit. Once we reassured them that we could tell their story however it unfolded (rather than fitting them into our narrative), they were fully on board.
We even did a combination engagement session and family portrait of this new family!
Jenifer and Jason’s intimate ceremony was perfect. The sun was shining. Everyone they love the most was there. There were laughs and tears and Bode even got in on the action!
The above image is a great example of what gets Eron most excited about the spontaneity of wedding photography. The movie screen was lowered to shield the eyes of the guests during the welcome toast because the sun was shining so brightly. Eron noticed that when it shined through the stained glass of The Pabst Best Place it cast an amazing pattern on the back of movie screen. Eron never knows where the inspiration will come from, but his eyes are always open to it.
