Turner Hall Wedding: Erin & Ben!
Erin and Ben had a very altruistic approach to planning their Turner Hall wedding. “We want everyone to have fun and we want this to be as easy and stress-free for our guests as possible. It is really important to us that our guests feel relaxed and have a good time. We feel that our wedding is as much about celebrating the people in our lives as it is about celebrating our commitment to each other. ” explained Erin.
That sentiment is one of our favorites from our brides and grooms. We love all the thought that goes into the details of a wedding but when it comes down to it, the relationships and emotional context of a wedding is what really drives us.
There is something very special about getting ready for your wedding backstage at a legitimate rock and roll venue. You can fell the history when you occupy a space that has been shared with some of the biggest bands that come through town.
In an effort to keep things simple, Erin and Ben chose to have everything at Turner Hall: final preparation, ceremony, and reception. This large space is perfect for this approach to a wedding day. After their first look, Erin, Ben, and the wedding party strolled down to the Riverwalk for some photos. Other than that, their Turner Hall wedding day unfolded within these awesome historic walls for the rest of the day.
Before the night ended, Jessica snuck Erin and Ben out for some beautiful night photos in the alley. That may sound odd, but we do some of our best work in alleys. We love that time of night when everything starts to glow but the sky still has a rich blue quality to it.
