Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Kelly & Alex!
Kelly and Alex coming together was kind of written in the stars. Their families have been friends for, wait for it, FOUR generations! You could almost say their wedding has been in the works for about a century. Well, it’s almost here! Kelly and Alex will be married tomorrow in New Holstein! They went for a completely different look for their engagement session, opting for a sleek downtown scene. As Milwaukee engagement photographers for years, we have learned that an engagement session is a wonderful opportunity to make images that are very different from the wedding day. Many couples like nature as well as urban landscapes but can’t necessarily fit it all into a wedding day. This way Kelly and Alex will have all sides of their life represented in their final collection.
We love how Kelly’s blue shoes perfectly complement Alex’s blue sport coat. And the richness of his reddish-brown shoes is a great pop of color! This is a couple that is completely coordinated and doesn’t miss a detail!
Alex works in one of those buildings along the skyline and was particularly excited for that small detail being in the background of their session.
Lidia has been loving this sculpture outside Discovery World. It’s always fun to see how she uses it next! That whole area is pretty photogenic, especially on a beautiful day.
Lakeshore State Park offers some really beautiful opportunities. On this day, Lidia was able to isolate Kelly and Alex against the man-made lake and bring in the rich blue reflection of the sky. It looks like they are in a world of their own on an absolutely perfect day.
Some couples find interesting props for their engagement session. Kelly and Alex actually own this bicycle built for two and love riding it all over town!
