Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Karly & Eric!

It’s very special when we get to photograph a sister of a former bride of ours. Doubly so when the current bride is the sister of two of our former brides!  Karly and Eric’s wedding will be the third wedding for us with Karly’s family. It’s always great to see this wonderful family again. We can’t wait to add another chapter to the story of their greatest days.

Karly and Eric came to Amanda with a challenge for their engagement session:  make February in Wisconsin look beautiful for us! Amanda took that challenge without batting an eye. Amanda accurately anticipated a frigid day and planned to start the shoot in out toasty studios.

One of the main reasons we love doing engagement sessions is so the couple can get a feel for what the wedding day experience will be like. The studio can be a pretty different kind of experience, but these images are great examples of how light is light.

It didn’t matter how cold it got, this was a location that needed to be a part of this shoot. Amanda worked quickly and made some gorgeous images that really captured the mood of the moment and the connection between this wonderful couple.
