We have a wide range of commercial clients that keep our weeks varied, which is really fun. Recently, we had the opportunity to document the NARI Home Improvement Show at the Wisconsin State Fair grounds. On one level it was a standard trade show with rows of exhibitors selling everything from siding to bathroom fixtures to hot tubs. But, there was also a strong educational element to the show. On one end of the floor, there was the SkillsUSA Teamworks Carpentry Competition/Displays which had different teams of students tackling a variety of construction projects. As a result, many families showed up to root on their children. On the opposite end of the floor there were a couple series of talks on different home improvement techniques as well as celebrity appearances (see below to find out who!).
