Milwaukee Children Photographer: A Front Room Family!
Sometimes our opportunities to be a Milwaukee children photographer spring from our wedding work. Such was the case with recently with Meryl and Peter. Since working with them on their wedding in 2012, we’ve had the pleasure of continuing the relationship as their family continues to grow. Now they have two boys and and an ever-accumulating collection of precious memories. Peter is a firefighter and his amazing helmet has now been a featured prop in portraits of both their boys. We were excited to see the whole family could be here for Saxon’s newborn portrait as we could get all the different combos. Felix being so tender to his little brother were some of our favorite moments.
We always hope for the best for our wedding couples. Telling as much of their wedding story as we possibly can that day burns them into our memories forever. Indeed, sharing those experiences with them creates a mutual bond that is really strong. For our couples, having a friendship rooted in a day so full of optimism and hope is a nice reminder of the beginnings of your family. It’s like seeing a friendly face from the past, but the past isn’t high school or a former job. It’s your wedding! For us, seeing our couples years later and even happier than they were on their wedding day is really encouraging. Being married is a choice that takes a lot of work to make successful, but it can be the most rewarding, loving and comforting relationship.
Meryl and Peter are a great example of that. They are stronger than ever for each other and their two boys. It was great to see them again and add another chapter to the visual novel we are creating of their lives together. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
