Milwaukee Commercial Photographer:  The Journeyman!

As a Milwaukee commercial photographer, we get to see some of the freshest spaces in Milwaukee before many people get to.  If you are wondering what the buzz in Third Ward is all about, it’s The Journeyman, a Kimpton Hotel.  The lobby is beautiful and is worthy of a pop in if you happen to be walking by.

At the very top of this beautiful hotel is a wonderful room surrounded by windows and a wraparound deck with an amazing view.  This day it was set up for a ceremony.  It would also be a great location for a cocktail hour during a wedding or as an event space for a commercial event.  We have had a few opportunities to spend time in this room and on the deck.  The view overlooking the Hoan Bridge and The Summerfest grounds is a unique one in Milwaukee.  When the sun is setting, there isn’t a better place to take it all in.

Of course, what would a fancy new hotel be without a proper ballroom?  The Journeyman did a fantastic job with their’s creating an elegant blank slate with recessed lighting!  How to dress up a ballroom is always a fun challenge for couples, but The Journeyman has you covered as they handle everything from rentals to linens.  Their staff works directly with couples to guide them through the options.

A ballroom is just a ballroom until the experts come in!  Impressions by Esther provided the beautiful flowers you see here.  Sound by Design worked their lighting magic to give the room a little bit of pop.  Once all that’s done, that’s when it’s time to call in a Milwaukee commercial photographer.

Right outside the ballroom is another space where a cocktail hour could be staged.  There is such a nice blend of current and vintage in this stylish hotel.
