Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Mauly & Shim!

Being a Milwaukee engagement photographer comes with many fun opportunities for so many different kinds of beautiful images. From the industrial look to the straight up nature, we can find just about any aesthetic a couple is looking for. Mauly and Shim wanted to make the most of the beautiful afternoon light in the trees and then take in the sunset from the beach. With those goals in mind, we set out to find the perfect locations for their vision. We ended up on the south side where we could find all we were looking for within a block of each other! There’s also a fantastic view of the downtown skyline from the south side that you just don’t see that often.

Sometimes couples opt for a wardrobe change mid-session to get to different looks out of the experience. In this case, Mauly’s first look includes a modern skirt that her sister made from traditional Hmong fabric. Throughout the session, both she and Shim are wearing traditional Hmong jewelry.

We love doing engagement sessions because it gives us a chance to show couples all that we can do for them. From helping them with the planning to helping them with the posing it’s the best way to really understand what a photographic experience is like with us. This time together and seeing the stunning results never fails to lead to a great feeling of confidence on the wedding day that not only will the photos be everything a couple could want, but they will have the best time of their lives as well. What more could one hope for?

Mauly and Shim will complete this circuit tomorrow when they finally tie the knot.  We could not be happier for them and are very excited for their wedding!
