Milwaukee Engagement Photographer:  Sara & Steve!

Sara & Steve didn’t just stumble upon us when looking around for a Milwaukee engagement photographer.  Tiara at Events to a T is working on their wedding with them and was instrumental in getting us together.  She knew they were looking for images that were both personal and edgy and thought we it would be a great fit for them at Front Room.  As always, Tiara nailed it!

Sara and Steve are the kind of couple we are always excited to work with:  easy on the eyes, breezy savior-faire, style out the wazoo and, most importantly, a genuine and playful affection for each other.  Their preference was something on the urban side of the spectrum, so we called our friends at the Hotel Milwaukee Intercontinental to get their go ahead to shoot in their lobby and gallery.  We knew this would be a great home base.  Not only did it give us awesome indoor options (after all, it was spring in Wisconsin, never something to be trifled with in a summery dress without a backup plan) but it also gave us quick access to the riverwalk and downtown in general.

Sometimes people think seeking out a Milwaukee engagement photographer is an obligatory part of the wedding process or only necessary if you need save the date cards.  To us, the whole point of an engagement session is getting to know what it feels like to be in front of your photographer’s camera.  To change an unknown into a known prior to the wedding.  A fun engagement session allows you to be tangibly excited for the photographic aspect of your wedding day rather than apprehensive about it.

To be certain, there are some wonderful other benefits.  In addition to save the date options and wedding display options, it’s nice to have images of you as a couple on what could be any random date night in addition to the collection of wedding imagery you will have.  It is also, for some, one of the first official wedding activities of their engagement.  They are the first photos of you as a forever couple.
