The Harley-Davidson Museum opened its doors in 2008 and in true Harley fashion, it’s been a household name and a must go to spot for visitors and events alike. Fortunately for its guests, they’ve been hosting events since the start and have only steadily increased their ability to accommodate whatever your dream is – indoor or outdoor. With a hearty stack of options, the Harley-Davidson can suit an elegant, clean and crisp soiree or something more industrial and edgy.

What type of couples are drawn to the for their weddings?
Couples that want something unique, don’t want to repeat what they’ve seen in the past. Grooms tend to love Chrome (modern ballroom, crystal chandeliers without hotel carpet) and brides love the Garage (industrial). And then there is Rumble, a hybrid of both for couples looking to meet in the middle.
Favorite trend you are seeing for weddings this year?
Creativity in late night snacks. That’s where you see the most detail about who the couple is.
One thing every bride or groom should know before their wedding?
Be organized, otherwise it’s unnecessary stress. Make a schedule with to do items. Breathe, don’t let the small stuff get you on edge.
Is there in house catering offered?
Yes. Levy Restaurants, headquartered out of Chicago, also has provided catering for the Fiserv Forum, Wisconsin Center, UWM Panther Arena, Miller Theater, Wrigley Stadium and the Grammies.
What services are available in-house?
There’s a day of coordinator, integrated AV and parking.

What is your favorite thing about weddings at the Harley-Davidson Museum?
The relationship with our couples and their families; they’re not just a client. When I work with a couple, it feels like I’m part of the family.
The Beauty
We love the Harley-Davidson Museum largely because of the amazing architecture. There’s plenty of bold lines that make for strong framing and add interest.
Natural light is plentiful with floor to ceiling windows and a white tent.
The campus’ greenery provides a natural element and conveniently is only steps away from the riverwalk.
Cocktail hours are often hosted in the skywalk, which is perfect for natural light and sunset views.
And lastly, the Harley-Davidson brand is just so integral to Milwaukee, it definitely adds some local flair to any destination couples looking for a industrial but peaceful neighborhood vibe.
