Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Melissa & Jeremy, From Friends to Clients

Technically, Melissa has been a client for a long time. We met Melissa through our work with United Way where Melissa happily toils away at many things, including booking photographers!  After countless shoots together, it was a natural conclusion that she would call us to begin and end her search for a Milwaukee Engagement Photographer.

She and Jeremy don’t love having their photo taken.  For that reason, it was extra important that they work with someone they are comfortable with.  Honestly, that’s how we feel about all couples and the benefits of doing an engagement session together.  Being able to feel at ease with us and each other in front of our cameras is a vital part of our process to getting to amazing wedding photos.  Not to mention, it also ends up creating wonderful photos of the “everyday” version of you as a couple.

We started in a place of comfort:  Melissa and Jeremy’s home.  This gave us an opportunity to work in their natural environment and feature their chickens!

Melissa and Jeremy thought it would be nice to have a distraction and activity involved in their engagement session.  It was Wisconsin State Fair season and they loved the idea of getting lost in the crowd and featuring one of Wisconsin’s annual summertime traditions.  We couldn’t have agreed more.
